New User Tutorial: How to register and set up a New user Account

Step 1: On the Home Page for LocalTraderOnline.com you will see the Menu bar at the bottom of the page. Click on "Sell".

Step 2: LocalTraderOnline.com will then display the Login area. Since you are new to LocalTraderOnline.com go ahead and click on "Register".

Step 3: LocalTraderOnline.com now displays the Member Registration page. Fill out your first name, last name, and check the box to the right if you do not want to have your last name displayed with your classified ads. Fill in address, city and state and zip. The city and state is the only part of your address that will be displayed to potential buyers. Give a contact phone number that you wish potential buyers to call you. Also your email address, note, your email address will not be displayed, this helps to guard against spam. Create a user name and password. You will use these to log in to your member account. Click on the check box for the "Terms and Conditions" after you have read them and then click on "Register".

Step 4: If all the information you filled in the new member registration form was correct, LocalTraderOnline.com now displays the member log in page once again. Go ahead put in your User ID and Password, and click on Login.

Step 5: LocalTraderOnline.com now displays Your Member Area. Here you will be able to Place, Edit and Delete your own classified ads, anytime 24 hours of the day, 7 days of the week!!! In the next steps we will explain in detail the Member area.


Step 6: On the left side of the Member Area, you will see the menu. In the center of the page LocalTraderOnline.com displays the use for each menu item.

Step 7: In the right hand corner LocalTraderOnline.com displays your user name and gives you the Log in status. You can click on "Logout" if you want to log out of your member area.
